Torquay is the ultimate beach-lover’s paradise, and it’s one of my absolute favorite spots for photography sessions! The long stretches of soft white sand, gentle waves, and iconic palm trees make for the most picture-perfect backdrop. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed couple’s session or a fun-filled family shoot, Torquay has that classic Hervey Bay charm that feels warm, carefree, and full of life.

One of the best locations here is along the foreshore, where the beach is lined with beautiful palm trees that give off those tropical island vibes. The water is so calm and clear, making it ideal for those dreamy, barefoot-in-the-sand shots. If you love natural, candid moments, we can even dip our toes in the water or capture some fun splashing in the waves.

For families, Torquay Beach is an amazing spot to let the kids run free while we capture those unfiltered, joy-filled moments. The nearby jetty and wooden walkways add variety to the session, and there’s plenty of shady areas under the trees if you want a mix of beach and greenery in your photos.
